Double-sided gluing applies adhesive to the top and bottom of a panel or core in one pass, with an upper and a lower glue roller. It is used to build sandwich constructions such as door blanks and honeycomb or foam panels, where a core is bonded to two skins. Both glue films are metered separately, so the spread can differ per side when the skins require it.
