Energy-efficient drying puts heat or radiation only where and when the coating needs it. LED curing lamps switch on and off instantly and produce little heat, infrared emitters heat the coated surface directly, and warm-air dryers can recirculate and recover part of their air. Matching the dryer to the coating and the line speed avoids heating an oversized tunnel.
