Furniture finishing is the sequence of sanding, staining, sealing and topcoating that gives furniture parts their final look and protection. Flat panels are usually coated with roller coaters and UV-curing lacquers, while profiled parts and edges are sprayed. Oils and waxes are used where a natural, open-pore surface is wanted.
