Glass coating applies a functional or decorative layer to flat glass, for example colour on back-painted glass for splashbacks and furniture. Because glass is smooth and non-porous, it must be thoroughly cleaned and often treated with an adhesion primer. Flat sheets can be coated by roller or curtain and then cured with UV or heat.
