Hot air drying blows heated air over a coated or glued surface to speed up the evaporation of water or solvents. Airflow matters as much as temperature: moving air carries the moisture away so drying continues evenly. In a drying tunnel it is often combined with infrared, and the temperature is limited by what the substrate and coating can tolerate.
