A UV polishing system combines a UV-curing high-gloss lacquer with a sanding and polishing step. Because UV lacquer is fully cured as soon as it leaves the lamps, the surface can be sanded and polished shortly afterwards, without the long waiting times of solvent-based high-gloss systems. The result is a high-gloss finish on furniture panels and fronts.
