In acoustic wall panels, felt is bonded to a carrier board or to wooden slats. Soest builds the gluing lines for that work, from glue spreader to press.
The hotmelt roller coater applies PUR adhesive over the full surface, so slats stay bonded after cutting or trimming, and because hotmelt contains no water, the panels stay flat. For cold-glue production, the single-sided DRM glue spreader is the first machine in the line.
Behind the glue spreader, the INDEX system aligns each glued board against a fixed reference edge, with felt or top sheets stored in a magazine above the line within arm's reach. A foot pedal releases the assembly into the CAL roller press, which bonds it in-line as the final pressing step. TR roller conveyors link the stations, and the VP polishing machine can treat the surface of the assembled panels on widths up to 1,450 mm.
