Metal panels and composite elements are bonded and prepared on the same Soest machines that run in panel and flooring lines, set up for the substrate.
The hotmelt roller coater bonds aluminum and steel as well as HPL, foam and wood, with the adhesive type (PUR, EVA/polyolefin or PSA) and the roller material matched to the substrate. Its 0.01 mm roller adjustment keeps the glue film exact. The high initial bond strength lets the CAL roller press bond the assembly directly in-line; single-roller versions suit sheet materials such as aluminum, HPL and PVC.
For sandwich constructions, the double-sided DRM cold glue roller coater applies PVAc, PU or UF adhesive to both faces of a core in one pass, on machine widths up to 3,200 mm. The INDEX system positions each glued panel for its top layer before the press, and TR roller conveyors carry the panels between stations.
Surface preparation is covered too: the VD belt sander calibrates and smooths metal and composite panels with calibrating rollers, segmented shoes or wide belts.
Every machine is dimensioned to your panel format. Test your own metal and composite materials in our Test Center in Wormerveer.
