Foam panels and sandwich panels are made by gluing facing layers onto a core and pressing the assembly. Soest builds both hotmelt and cold-glue lines for that work.
The hotmelt roller coater bonds foam, HPL, aluminum, wood and steel with PUR, EVA/polyolefin or PSA adhesive. The rollers adjust in 0.01 mm steps and the adhesive contains no water, so the film stays exact and the panels stay flat. The high initial bond strength lets the CAL roller press bond the panel directly in-line, for most materials without a separate stack press.
For cold-glue sandwich panels, the double-sided DRM glues both faces of the core in one pass, so top and bottom layers can be pressed on together; the single-sided DRM covers one-face lamination. Both process PVAc, PU and UF adhesives on workpieces from 3 to 100 mm thick. The T flat press bonds the lay-up under uniform full-surface pressure, in single- or multi-station configuration, and the INDEX system aligns each glued panel and its top layer before the press.
Every line is dimensioned to your panel format and adhesive. Bring your own cores and facings to our Test Center in Wormerveer and run trials before you invest.
